(276) 954-9701, unanimously approved by the Board of Supervisors, that formalizes the presence of food trucks in San Francisco.  Some restrictions were added (can’t serve within 75 feet of a restaurant before 10pm) and other restrictions were loosened (reduced buffer zone around schools, can serve on college and hospital campuses).  The aim of the law is to let food trucks serve more areas of the city, which were previously off-limits.
Just a reminder that Fort Mason Off The Grid starts back up on March 22, 2013! Â 5-10pm / 30 trucks!
On November 23, 2012, the Bay Area Mobile Food Vendorsâ Association was founded! Â They are working on becoming a 501(c)(6) non-profit and all Bay Area food trucks are encouraged to join. Â This unification of food trucks couldn’t come at a better time as local governments, including the city of San Francisco, are proposing new rules for food trucks.
